Hi all,

So, I have P0340 flagging up:
  • Z22SE, ~97000 miles, Astra G Convertible
  • EML is intermittent.
  • Air temp sensor reads 25 degrees in 2 degree winter- old one is on the way but find it hard to imagine it could be this causing the fault. New one in the post.
I have already...
  • Changed coil back (last one died!)
  • New plugs, oil and fuel filter.
  • Changed throttle body (cleaned). Old one had some play leading to slightly dodgy idle and pulling away....

Well it had to be done :)

I'm joining the supercharger club :cool: I've just purchase a kit off Jeff Reiland from the good old u s of a and it should be here in a couple of weeks time. I should have it on the car by PVS time next year if not a little sooner, as i'm in no rush to get it on the car.

I would like to thank Jeff Reiland and evocarlos for all they help in getting this kit put together.

I'll use this thread for all updates...

help removing inlet manifold

Hey guys Berto vocky evocarlos just removing my inlet manifold so i can clean the check valve between ports 2 and 3, Almost there but the below is stopping progress

1. Not sure how to remove the ecu plugs - the bits that ive circled red are in the way and i dont know how to take them off so i can free the ecu. See pic below

2. Not sure what its called but there is a hose/pipe that connects into the inlet manifold from the gearbox...

Hi guys,

I have seen a set of mk4 Astra eibach springs and fk shocks for sale, but all the info it says is mk 4 or g.

Can anyone tell me if the springs and shocks are the same fitment across the board or are they model specific?

(Apologies if this is well known old news for many of you guys, but I'm new to fiddling with this particular engine asmileys.on_my_web.com_repository_Happy_happy_134. ).


This is how I believe it works asmileys.on_my_web.com_repository_Thinking_thinking_022. , please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.


· There is no PCV valve on these engines.


· Fresh, filtered air from the intake manifold goes into the crankcase thru 'A':

(I believe 'b' and 'c' have no role here,...

mileage light isnt illuminating after changing bulb

changed all my bulbs to led everything works excpect mileage light which cannot see anything only time you see mileage it when you shine a torch on it also after tinkering mileage isnt showing now not sure if a fuse has popped but need help lol mot on monday
